Barry Manilow has postponed a concert at the last minute due to "unforeseen circumstances".

The Copacabana singer was due to perform at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky on Tuesday night as part of his The Last Concerts tour.

But shortly before the gig was set to start, a representative issued a statement announcing that the show had to be postponed.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, tonight's show in Lexington has been rescheduled," they wrote on social media.

In addition, a spokesperson for Rupp Arena commented: "Due to unexpected and unforeseen circumstances, the Barry Manilow concert scheduled for tonight, August 4 at Rupp Arena is postponed. All previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new date once it is announced."

Representatives for Manilow have not yet commented on the news.

The Mandy hitmaker is next scheduled to perform at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on Wednesday evening.

Manilow has been open about his health struggles in recent years.

Last December, the 83-year-old revealed he had stage 1 lung cancer and was to undergo surgery.

And in March, the Can't Smile Without You star announced that he was cancer-free.

"This made me stop and think about: Have I done what I wanted to do, and have I made people happy? Have I been a good friend? All of those cornball things that I've read for all of my life, I started to think about that, too. It really did stop me in my tracks," he told People. "And the answers are yes. And as a matter of fact, there are more yeses than I ever thought."
