An Aussie musician has taken the most recognisable hardware store slogans and turned them into a surprisingly epic metal track.

Jon Flynn, who regularly posts heavy covers online, has gone and screamed the entire Bunnings ad script over a heavy metal track. And it actually works.

Filmed outside a Bunnings store, Flynn grips a mic like he’s fronting a festival stage and belts, “Whatever you need to get the job done this weekend, you’ll find it all at Bunnings.”

He doubles down with, “Check out this Ryobi 18v drill driver kit, only $99.98,” before tossing in a casual “you beauty”.

The video cuts between him performing in the car park, wandering the aisles past bright yellow specials, hanging out in the garden section with the succulents, and, of course, holding a couple of snags.

Hearing the classic taglines of “when you find a lower price on the same stocked item, we’ll beat it by 10%” and “lowest prices are just the beginning” in a screaming metal voice was something I didn’t know I needed.

Even Bunnings gave them a tick of approval with a rock hand emoji in the comments.

Other viewers were quick with the gags: “Lowest tuning is just the beginning,” and “Metalcore peaked at this moment.”

One person summed it up perfectly: “This is so dope.”

“Bunnings Metal Fest Confirmed? All the good things happen in a Bunnings Carpark,” commented another.

He even influenced an international: “We need a Bunnings in the US!”

I bet you’ll never think of the Bunnings slogan the same - you’re welcome.
