We’ve got a new voice joining The Edge Breakfast show, and her name might already ring a few bells - It’s Aussie radio legend Ash London!
She’s stepping in to help hold it down while Meg heads off on maternity leave. And by ‘it’, we mean Clint and Dan’s shenanigans.
Ash is no stranger to a mic. She’s hosted shows across Australia, interviewed pretty much every major artist on the planet, and somehow still manages to sound like your funniest mate who’s popped round for a yarn. Now, she’s jumping in with Clint and Dan, and honestly? She already feels like part of the furniture.
Since landing in NZ, Ash has made a bit of noise, bringing her podcast ‘Hopeless Romantics’ from across the ditch, and landing the weeknight gig on our sister station, More FM.
“I’m honoured that you would have me, because I know how much I adore you and love you,” Ash said on this morning’s show.
“And I get it…” she said. “We work so hard as women to build a career, and we want to have a family, and you can’t have it all at the same time… but I’m gonna do my best to honour you for the next couple of months.”
Meg’s officially signed off to focus on baby number two, and while we’ll miss her big time, the show’s in very good hands.
