Ariana Grande has reignited rumours that she is back with ex-boyfriend Ricky Alvarez by updating the lyrics to one of her biggest songs.
At her Eternal Sunshine Tour concert in New York City on Monday night, the music superstar switched up the words in the verse of Thank U, Next where she lists her ex-boyfriends.
"Wrote some songs about Ricky/ we always find our way back," she sang, according to fan footage circulating on social media.
In the original 2018 track, Ariana sings, "Wrote some songs about Ricky/ Now I listen and laugh."
It's not the first time the Wicked actress has altered the lyrics in the hit track.
During a performance in Austin, Texas in June, the 33-year-old sang, "Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now they kinda slap."
And at the next show on her trek, she belted out, "Wrote some songs about Ricky/ I know he still got my back."
Previously, Ariana and backup dancer Ricky dated from 2015 until July 2016.
The pair was photographed in her hometown of Boca Raton, Florida for the Independence Day weekend at the start of July.
Representatives for Ariana have not yet commented on the relationship rumours.
Most recently, the Side to Side singer dated her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater. The couple reportedly split in June after nearly three years together.
Previously, Ariana was married to real estate agent Dalton Gomez from 2021 until they finalised their divorce in March 2024.
The pop star is set to release her eighth studio album, Petal, on 31 July.
The project includes the lead single, Hate That I Made You Love Me.
