Are Chase & Status gearing up to release a new album in 2026?

It’s the question on everyone's lips after Chase & Status reemerged over the weekend.

The duo have posted multiple videos of brand new, unreleased music across their socials, sparking serious speculation that a new project could be on the way.

The clips come after the pair played two nights at London’s Corsica Studios, where it sounds like they turned up with a USB stacked with fresh tunes.

At the time of writing, five different videos featuring unreleased tracks have been teased on their Instagram, including one clip captioned “Outta Control".

The comment sections immediately turned into a fan support group for unreleased bangers.

One fan wrote: “Release the album lads.”

Another added: “Sitting on two albums worth of material, I bet.”

The weekend shows weren’t just a parade of drum & bass either. According to posts from people in the crowd, the sets also dipped into multiple 140 tracks, hinting that the boys might be going back to their roots with some of their upcoming releases.

Their Instagram bio right now also reads: “Shift to the next gear.”

Naturally, we’re wondering if this could mean another album is on the horizon.

Their last project, 2 RUFF, Vol 1, landed back in 2023 and delivered some of the biggest drum & bass records of the past few years, including 'Baddadan', 'Liquor & Cigarettes', and 'Say The Word'.

So the obvious question now is: Could Vol 2 be on the way?

There’s been no official announcement from Chase & Status yet, but the amount of new music floating around suggests the vault is definitely full.

And if the Corsica Studios shows are anything to go by, they’re more than ready to start road-testing it.
