Here at The Breeze, we’re gearing up for our Totally 80s Countdown, and what better way to kick it off than with a live performance of one of Aotearoa’s biggest ‘80s hits!
Annie Crummer and Nick Sampson from Netherworld Dancing Toys popped into The Breeze Studio for a 40th anniversary recording of their hit single ‘For Today’.
Netherworld Dancing Toys were formed in the early ‘80s out of Otago University in Dunedin.
Written by Nick Sampson and released in 1985, For Today shot straight to the top of the charts, earning the group the APRA Silver Scroll Award for songwriting and cementing their place in Kiwi music history.
