Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep hit the red carpet with their The Devil Wears Prada 2 co-stars at the world premiere in New York on Monday night.
The worlds of film and fashion collided at the world premiere of the highly anticipated sequel at the David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center.
Hathaway, who was crowned People magazine's Most Beautiful star for 2026 this week, pulled out all the stops in a dazzling red gown custom-made by Louis Vuitton. The strapless satin dress featured a corseted bodice and a voluminous tea-length skirt.
Meanwhile, Streep channelled her character Miranda Priestly by wearing a statement red-orange cape coat with black leather gloves and oversized black sunglasses.
The duo, who have been on a worldwide press tour in recent weeks, were finally joined by their co-stars Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, who reprise their roles as Emily and Nigel from the 2006 original.
The returning four-piece, who posed for group photos on the red carpet, were supported by many of their new co-stars, including Kenneth Branagh, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Simone Ashley, and B.J. Novak.
Theroux's appearance - alongside his actress wife Nicole Brydon Bloom - came just days after they announced the arrival of their first child, a boy, on Saturday.
Lady Gaga, who sings the film's soundtrack song Runway with Doechii, also hit the red carpet, alongside fashion stars including models Heidi Klum and Naomi Campbell, designer Marc Jacobs and celebrity stylist Law Roach.
Elsewhere, influencer Madeline Argy brought along a surprising red-carpet accessory, The Canny Pack. Crafted from supple leather and designed to cradle a Diet Coke, the bespoke accessory was "masterminded" by James Holt, the iconic (and entirely fictional) designer from the first movie.
Stacy Jackson, VP of Coca-Cola Trademark, said, "Diet Coke has long occupied that coveted intersection where fashion meets culture, and The Devil Wears Prada 2 doesn't just build on an iconic legacy; it ignites a fresh, modern dynamism that inspires style ambition across discerning generations."
The Devil Wears Prada 2, set inside the world of fashion magazine Runway, will be released in cinemas on 1 May.
