Andy Grammer and wife Aijia welcome baby number three

Andy Grammer and his wife, Aijia Grammer, have welcomed their third child.

The Honey, I'm Good hitmaker has revealed that he and his singer-songwriter wife quietly welcomed their third daughter, West Lizette Grammer, on 17 June.

The newest addition to the family arrived just one month before Grammer kicked off his headlining tour in support of his upcoming album, Big Stupid Heart, which is due for release on 16 October.

Speaking to People, the singer announced the happy news and revealed the inspiration behind his youngest daughter's name.

"We're officially outnumbered. We welcomed our daughter, West Lizette Grammer, on June 17," he divulged.

The 42-year-old explained that all three of his and Aijia's daughters' names have geographical connections.

"Our oldest daughter, Louie, nine, is named after Louisiana, and Izzy, six, is Israel," he said. "We were trying to figure out if we were going to keep going with the location thing, and then from the backseat Louie said, 'What about West?' My wife and I were like, 'Honestly, that's really good,' so we call her Westie."

Grammer also praised his "hero" wife, revealing that she suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), a severe pregnancy complication, during each of her three pregnancies.

"There wouldn't be anything else worth her going through this except these little girls," he said. "She loves our daughters. She did it, and she's never going to do it again."

The couple have been married since 2012.

Reflecting on life as a family of five, the Fine By Me singer added that it is "just so good in a rocking chair with this baby and my two other girls snuggled on top of me."

Grammer went on to admit that balancing life with a newborn while preparing to tour and release his sixth studio album has been both challenging and rewarding.

"To be able to do both of these at the same time - family, and then putting out a record that I just love and can't wait to play live - it's a stressful, wonderful period in life," he shared. "It's the best."
