Here's a little update on the most and long-awaited Bee Gees biopic! And no, sorry the release date is still unknown!
In 2019, A Bee Gees biopic and the producer for it was confirmed.
According to Deadline, the Bee Gees biopic will focus on the life and times of the Bee Gees, following the humble beginnings of brothers Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb into their superstardom.
The director and writer of the film have now been changed. Sing Steet and Once director, John Carney is now set to direct the untitled Bee Gees biopic for Paramount Pictures. John Logan, the three-time Oscar nominee (Gladiator, Hugo, The Aviator) is writing the script.
Kenneth Branagh was initially the director for the film, but due to other project clashes, he parted ways with the project.
The movie is produced by 'Bohemian Rhapsody' producer Graham King via GK Films and the production company Siser. Barry Gibb who's also the executive producer. Sister. Barry Gibb is also very involved in the narrative of the film.
As of now the title, release year, and actors are still yet unknown.
