Alex Cooper announces she’s pregnant with first baby

Podcast powerhouse Alex Cooper has officially entered her next big chapter, and nah, it’s not another headline-making interview or a spicy podcast confession. It’s being a mum!

The Call Her Daddy host has announced she’s pregnant with her first child, revealing that she and husband Matt Kaplan are expecting their first baby together.

Cooper dropped the news on Instagram with a series of seriously sweet photos showing off her baby bump alongside Kaplan, keeping the caption short and sweet with just two words: “Our family.”

For anyone who’s followed Cooper since the early Call Her Daddy days, when the podcast felt like pure chaos, wine-fuelled oversharing, and stories you definitely wouldn’t play on the aux with your parents in the car, this feels like a bit of a full-circle moment.

Earlier this year, Cooper opened up about how her views on marriage and having kids had changed over time. She admitted there was a stage in her twenties where she couldn’t really picture either. But after marrying Kaplan in 2024, it sounds like something shifted, and starting a family became something she genuinely wanted.

And if you know the lore, you’ll remember these two first met during a Zoom call back in 2020, with Cooper famously calling him “Mr. Sexy Zoom Man” before eventually going public with the relationship. Fast-forward to their beachside wedding in Mexico, and now just over two years later, baby makes three.
