Do you know an unsung hero who deserves major recognition? More FM Hawke's Bay has teamed up with Furnware to find our region's most deserving educator and crown them our 2025 Teacher Of The Year!

Teachers play such a vital role in our children's and teens' lives, and we believe it's time to shine a light on their incredible work. We're looking for passionate Primary, Intermediate, or High School teachers right here in Hawke's Bay who go above and beyond.

How to Nominate Your Favourite Teacher:

From November 3rd to 7th, we are asking you to head over to the More FM Hawke's Bay Facebook page. Look for the special Teacher Of The Year post, then comment the teacher's name, their school, and tell us why they are a true local hero.

Once nominations close we will reveal our four finalists on the More FM Hawke's Bay Facebook page!

We'll then need your help to vote for the ultimate winner. Be sure to check the page and vote for the teacher you believe deserves the title.

That Friday the More FM Street Team will visit the winning school to give the Teacher Of The Year a huge surprise! They will be awarded with a fantastic prize package including flowers, chocolate, and a certificate, all thanks to our partners, Furnware!
