Big Gay Out returns to Coyle Park this Feb 15th 2025 from 12pm! Bringing the largest free Pride celebration in Aotearoa back to Tāmaki Makaurau for a joyful summer day of music, performance, food and community.

As part of the Auckland Pride Festival, it celebrates queer culture, creativity and connection, centring joy, visibility and belonging for our rainbow whānau, friends and allies.

Hosted by the iconic Kita Mean and Anita Wiglit, the Big Gay Out mainstage features a line-up of exceptional performers from Aotearoa and around the world! Including:

Alongside a stacked lineup, Big Gay Out have plenty more planned for the day! Including the Big Gay Bar, Hauora Hub, Southern Cross Big Gay Picnic, Big Gay Marketplace, HIV and STI testing, Low-sensory space, partner’s area and more!

Proudly presented by Burnett Foundation Aotearoa, Big Gay Out is a free, accessible event grounded in wellbeing, safety and sustainability — with free HIV and STI testing available on the day.
